You have a point Al.  I also like LAX's paralells, they are well spaced, yet
don't need a prairie to have room.  Also, weather keeps them open.   The
taxiways are a night mare though, but they are fast.  I think O'hare is set up
horribly, but we all know that.  DFW is also a big annoying in its set up
