Matthew and all,

American flew their 757ERs to Manchester UK for a short time in the 1990s, I
believe from JFK. COA flies (or flew) Cleveland (I think) to LGW with 757s,
and they also regularly use 757s to Glasgow, UK in the winter. In summer
they have used DC10s, and this year, 767-400s. BAW used two 757ERs G-BPEC
and G-BPEE exclusively on GLA and BHX (Birmingham UK) to JFK during 1995-97
or thereabouts. Typically for BA, they started into Glasgow with L1011s,
changed to 767-300s, and after a couple of years on 757s dropped both routes
as they are pretty much known as "London Airways" over here.

Glasgow still has daily 757s to Keflavik / Reykjavik, Iceland, but I guess
that doesn't count as its a connection to the US.

Jim
