AI-fueled clickbait sites often dominate search results and multiply
the same AI halucinations. A big fraction of my 35+ years employment

I used to have raid arrays for some stuff but found that repairing a
massive raid array was so time consuming it wasn't worth my time. Good
backups are much better and quicker for my usage.
Each person has their own usage and needs. As I said, I will give BTRFS
a closer look in the near future. Working with volumes is a new domain
for me to learn. I have worked with ext file system for over a decade.
I know it isn't perfect and the repair aspect of btrfs is something that
sounds nice for what I want. It will be on a single external drive and
see how that works. Minimal integration into the system. Might even
start with a USB stick for testing.
Many things to learn before trying btrfs again.
