My error in reading my purchase paperwork.  I found the label on the
printer.  It is an MF628CW.  That could be the sole source of my
problem.  I'll respond again to this message once I download and try
the new driver.
Thanks to all of you for your help.
By the way, I am a bit vision challenged, so that probably contirbuted
to my error.
