Yes, those worked well when I was able to use them, this system goes to it's own DNS no matter what I ask it, and the DNS they provide works well most of the time, it's just that recently I have been seeing it fail and fixing it requires rebooting the Viasat modem.

I need to convince them they have a problem, will check more next time it goes out.

Get someone on the horn who has a minimum of an understanding, and tell them you can't ping their DNS servers.
