Maybe, sometimes, they actually transmit the DNS request to Malaysia. I would ask the ISP what the IP address of their DNS servers should be.....
I don't remember how I got those DNS addresses but they have been working for a couple of years without a problem until recently. I will look into it some more tomorrow.
