I think the question is, "Why isn't i386 libpython2.4.so.1.0 in the x86_64 repo?" The issue has come up before with OpenOffice <https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=151539>
Alternatively, the question is "Why do these packages need libpython24.so.1.0 and is that proper?"
