Okay, After multiple tests, adding users to the audio group is a
disaster. Lose much of the idea of using Linux.
Last night did my updates and did a reboot for the kernel and did a
quick audio test and everything seemed to work okay with people in the
audio group and I did test just playing a video on at least three
different users and they worked.
This morning I needed to do a web conference and plugged in the camera
and couldn't get it to work or the mic on the camera or an external mic.
All have worked in the past.
After this, the audio was screwed up in other accounts. I didn't log
any of them out since my test last night.
The only way to get things working correctly is to remove all users from
the audio group.
Will have to play with the camera and mic later to see if that is
working again.

I believe that this might be actually the reason. Add the other users to
the audio group, too,
and let's see what happens. I believe it could solve the problem.
