I've had more and more problems over the last 2 years - now becoming hard to deal with. Lately (f25) I find sddm is misbehaving very badly. When I reboot, and try to login with 2 monitors, frequently I'm left with a black screen. Even my kill/restart script doesn't work. Several reboots later I finally get a desktop, and then have to fix various settings (e.g., my background changed). Last time I tried, I on about the 3rd reboot I got a panel with no pager, and couldn't seem to add one. A restart later everything was fine. Maybe I can switch away from sddm?
