It's Windows 7 (x64), so I guess it doesn't really have to be old.

Yeah, but this isn't what I need (I want to send the audio live in a 
VoIP software that normally uses the microphone as the input source.)

Is it possible to tell ALSA to do that by software, just like Windows 
can do?
