> http://www.bitscope.com/ Bitscope makes USB data acquisition that supposedly (if you believe their website) is linux compatible. They even have isolated hardware. Granted, this is more expensive than using a soundcard. As an alternative, based on reports from sci.engineering.design, those cheap USB soundcards in a metal case sold on ebay can be modified to go down to DC. They unfortunately don't have a manufacturers name on them. I have one myself and can vouch the card is easy to remove from the case, but I never tried to modify one to do DC. Presently, ebay auction 290506258831,160510924981, 250526559089 . Maybe 130455967240. These don't appear to be fast enough for the task stated, but perhaps a post on sci.engineering.design will have a suggestion for an easily modified soundcard. These ebay cards use a cmedia chip. I don't have time to take mine apart and check at the moment, but I can say the card works under ALSA on opensuse. C-Media seems to have good ALSA support. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Increase Visibility of Your 3D Game App & Earn a Chance To Win $500!
