So, the Delta 1010 MIDI is recognized. I can also play MIDI to the Delta 1010 and watch the "MIDI out" LED blink, but my MIDI keyboard doesn't receive it, or send it. It's pretty clearly the piano that is the problem- still working on figuring out how to fix it. I suspect once I have the piano fixed, I'll have a working system.

I was able to get a MIDI sequencer program to pick up on MIDI data coming into the card, but I was using Windows for that test, only to confirm that the card's MIDI input port was working. I will certainly send an update once I get a chance to try it out on the Linux station.
I haven't tried yet to send data to the Kurzweil- I got hung up on the first problem of sending data from the Kurzweil. I will send an update about this too.
I wish I could play with this some more, but I have been busy- updates will come soon!

It shouldn't be an issue, my card is running here since 2002, first under a 2.4 kernel and now under ever changing linux kernels (2.6) with their built-in ALSA. I only had problems once, but that was sound related. Still, younever know.
Did you try to connect your delta MIDI-out to Kurzweil MIDI-in?
