Hi Nigel

The new output is athttp://www.alsa-project.org/db/?f=e78c828e0db9df27603c70965df32d8629feae6f

The capture controls in alsamixer are:Front Mic BoostMic BoostCaptureCapture 1Input Source. This one is a switch that alternates between:Line, CD, Front Mic,Mic and Stereo Mixer
I have tried every combination without success.
On the F3 pane I have:Master FrontHeadphonePCMFrontFront MicSurroundCenterLFESide LineCDMicIndependent HP. This one is a ON/Off switch
All the channels are unmuted and all thw way up.

I use the line in to connect a TV card too. It used to work with my previousmotherboard. The output from the tv card has sound, I can hear it if I connectthe speakers directly to it.

Best Regards,
