But I still couldn't find a way to capture what I'm hearing from the soundcard. Tried arecord test.wav arecord -f dat test.wav arecord -f dat -D hw:0,0 test.wav arecord -f dat -D plughw:0 test.wav arecord -f dat -D default test.wav arecord -f dat -D front test.wav and several other switches like "-f cd", but what I'm getting right now are wav files, but no sound in them, I tried boost the volume on some of these wavs, and them only have a very dim inaudible static, no more no less. I'm doing something wrong? There is an standard method to capture mixed output sound? ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Moblin Your Move Developer's challenge Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK & win great prizes Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the world http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100&url=/ _______________________________________________ Alsa-user mailing list Alsa-user@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/alsa-user
