It's not like it's some great imposition. But there must be something obvious because it should be working. If audacity can use the card to record, it should be able to use the card to play. Would you run another snapshot of your system with pulse disabled and audacity with recording working but playback not working? Maybe the disabling of pulse will reveal something. You didn't mention whether the files you recorded played in other applications. If they didn't, were there any error or log messages? Can you play standard sound files with other applications? If you load a CD, does it play? > > Regards > > A.A.Hamilton Don't feel obligated to answer if you've got another angle to work. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Moblin Your Move Developer's challenge Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK & win great prizes Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the world http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100&url=/ _______________________________________________ Alsa-user mailing list Alsa-user@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/alsa-user
