I tried arecord, but it also records always from the back mic, no
matter what the input source is. My arecord is version 1.0.16 from
up-to-date Debian testing.

I have only one mic. :)

I'm told to experiment changing parameters to hda-intel module,
especially trying every possible "model" such as
"model=3stack-6ch-dig", what do you think of that?
