After, you must be aware of one thing: at alsa support analog input/outputcapability don't mean at the hardware is capable to output frequencies below 15Hz.

For what I know, the first subsonic experiences was made by the nazisduring WWII. They was torturing prisoners with subsonic frequencies. So becareful with it. In fact, even frequencies between 25 and 50 Hz can have aphysiological impact on the body, It is a very complicated matter because weall know at we don't feel the same after listening to a concert of hard rock orsalsa music.
