I don't know anything about lynxos but, apparently, the server is expecting that it can open /dev/atc0 to get access to the console. You apparently don't have /dev/atc0. So.... that either means you need /dev/atc0 in order to run XFree86 or if there is some other way to access the console on lynxos, you need a version of XFree86 that knows how to access it (I don't know if such a version exists or not). If this were Linux, I'd say you just forgot to compile your kernel with console and virtual terminal support. I have no experience with Lynxos, however, so I don't know if this is the same problem.
