hi sir

i have freshly installed the RHL 8 on the desktop and its version is   Red Hat Linux release: 4.2.0-72  and my XFree86  version is  XFree86 Version 4.2.0 . when i first started the  GUI mode ( startx )  the monitor screen got garbled  so i logged into the terminal by typring ctrl+alt+F2  there i entered the file XF86Config file in  /etc/X11 and try to change some settings in that file in Hsync and Hsync section and rebooted the pc , that time i reported a problem in the terminal as   XFree86.report.log which i have sent and it  is stored in /va/log  folder . so that from here i am not able to enter for Startx  . so i have done some changes in the folder /etc/X11  and  try to  replace the XF86Config file to its  ol d settings and  rebooted the pc . when i type  startx i am getting this problem  and stops going to GUI mode  :

giving up

xinit : No such file or directory  ( errno : 2 ) : unable to connect to X server
xinit : No such process  ( errno : 3 ) : server error

what is the problem with this and how to solve this problem . i am attaching the  files of config file and report file .

what is the steps to reload the  X  in RHL 8

Regards
SOMU
