Oh, and you can ignore the message about the inconsistency in horizontal panel
dimension.  The message is inconsequential in this case and the patch ups the
verbosity needed to print it.  The message is caused by a small rounding error
in your adapter BIOS's setting of the horizontal stretch factor it uses for
the mode on server entry.

fantastic.. it worked straight off..
and the patch applied absolutly cleanly against 4.4.99.22.
