Unfortunatly the ati driver still cannot cope with a Dell Inspiron 7500. The ati driver still creates a totally black screen, and there is still the new message about an inconsistent Panel size.. that may be a coincidence however. It's a pitty because 4.3 ran so well on this machine. I may have to reinstall 4.3 so that we can get comparative logfiles.. The vesa driver "almost" copes.
