Perhaps this could help: There's a patch of 4.4.99.21 snapshot ports that 
applies to current ports tree:
http://www.ijs.si/~lesi/xfree/XFsnap-4.4.99.21_2.diff
It's missing some fixes to plists, but should work (I'm using it now). It also 
patches print/freetype2 as freetype upgrade is needed to compile the snapshot 
ports.
I can generate packages a bit later when I'll update this to 4.4.99.22 
snapshot and fix plists. If you need them, tell me for which FreeBSD version 
and which platform.
