All, I'm trying to cause the X Server to repaint when I switch from using one graphics card to the backup card in my machine. I'm using linux and I remap the pte's so the virtual addresses of the framebuffer pages now "point to" the physical memory on the backup card. For the linux text console, I just call redraw_screen() and it repaints the text from Linux's backing store. Any advice would be appreciated.
