I have accepted the fact that though it may work on other PC's with different BIOS, I am never going to get my Dell Optiplex to be dual-headed with a PCI and the on-board AGP adapter. Judging from the response and net search, this problem is not as common as I thought it would be. I plan to get a cheap 2nd PCI adapter temporarily. For longer term I am looking at a dual-head ATI Radeon which is common here in Melbourne, Australia. I still have not heard of fix to nvidia (8k/4k stack issue?) for linux kernel 2.6+ Comments anyone?
