no keyboard events w/o windowmanager?

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hi all.

I'm experiencing an odd behaviour on xf 4.4.0:
When there is no windowmanager running, my appl. (firefox) will not receive
any keyboard events. If I start an additional wm, everything works fine!

xev sees window events regardless wether there is or is no wm...
(XFree86*.log and output from xdpyinfo is attached...)

Anybody any hint on how to investigate this further?

TIA. Salut,
  Jörg
