Hello, I have installed RH Linux 9, was working fine until I installed gaim 0.79; gaim required the following packages too, so I installed them too. 1 ) libtasn1 from here 2 ) libgpg-error from here 3 ) libgcrypt from here 4 ) opencdk from here 5 ) gnutls from here All the packages were installed after downloading respective wource codes from their sites and then compiling their source codes. gaim installed fine, and was working well. Then after rebooting the machine, RH Linux just refuses to start X Windows. At the login screen on terminal, am getting the output as: [drm:1830_wait_ring] *ERROR* lockup [drm:1830_wait_ring] *ERROR* space:131056 wanted 131064 gpm:oops() invoked from gpm.c /dev/ttyS0: Input output error I am not able to login from neither XWindows nor the terminal.
