Problems with deadkeys

Hello list

I just subscribed to this list in hopes of getting some help with a problem
I'm having with deadkeys.

I'm using a thin client project called PXES ( pxes.sourceforge.net ) with an
Citrix ICA client.

The dead keys like ü,û,ñ,ö,ä etc aren't working when I use norwegian
keyboard.
The strange thing is that if I use swedish keyboard the keys work. (Swedish
is pretty much identical to norwegian except a few chars)

All the dead keys work as intended if I go to the console, but not in X. Its
like X just ignores the ~ (tilde) key alltogether.

On my fat client (Red Hat 9 with EVERYTHING installed) these keys work fine
in X.
In a fit of desperation I copied all the files from /usr/X11R6/lib/X11 on my
fat client to the thin client. This increased the thin client image by 50+
Megabytes....making it kinda useless as a thin client....BUT...then the
deadkeys worked! :p

So...I need to figure out what files are needed. Anyone got a clue ? Font
files ?

I have attached my XFfree86 config file, the logfile and the symbols/no file
in this mail.

Any help or tips are greatly appreciated :)))

Regards,

Einar Eliassen
