What I was meaning:
'AFAIK dual monitor *on-Intel-855GM* isn't supported under GNU/Linux, *in-fact*
I couldn't have it with my old Intel 855GM based laptop.

I know dual monitor support is available under GNU/Linux for some cards, now
I've a new laptop with an ATI Radeon 9600 Mobility NP M10 and I can use
dual-head (1400x1050 on LCD and 1600x1200 on CRT) with no problems.
