It's RH9 with XFree86 4.3.0-2.90.55. 
Kernels 2.4.20-2.9 an 2.4.24-1.ll.rh90.ccrma from Planet CCRMA. Both
giving equal results.

i830 comes from respective kernel packages; no Intel packages used here.
How about you?

I found out that 24bpp depth the Morph3D OpenGL screensaver from KDE
gives me objects "turned inside-out" like the wrong side of the surface
would be displayed. Doesn't happen with 16bpp. Most other (2D)
screensavers aren't working at all.
