hi ! i have xserver XFree86 Version 4.3.0 on RH9.0. it was working fine until i happen to reboot the machine from terminal without exiting from the xwindow. since then i am not being able to run xwindow. it prompts for username and password as normal. but when both username and password is supplied, the blue screen appears and doesnot progress beyond that. i have tried XFree86 -configure which prompts to run XFree86 -xf86config /root/XF86config.new but the problem remained the same. the only message i could see in the terminal is (++) Using Config file: "/root/XF86Config.new" someone please advice me. thanks in advance. _______________________________________________ XFree86 mailing list XFree86@xxxxxxxxxxx http://XFree86.Org/mailman/listinfo/xfree86
