I noticed that the other night as I was working on the driver, but I didn't have any content large enough to test it with. I think it might be a hold over from the old r128 driver. switch it to 2048x2048 and give it a shot. It shouldn't hurt anything. If it works we can submit a patch to get it fixed in future releases. I have looked through the driver source and noticed that although the maximum image size in radeon_video.c is 2048x2048 , the offscreen image size is limited to 1024x1024. Is this likely the cause of the problem? If so, will it cause problems if I change it to 2048x2048?
