1) The sis driver does not support ModeLines for TV

Section "Device"
   Identifier "device1"
   VendorName "Silicon Integrated System"
   BoardName "SiS 650"
   Driver "sis"
   Option "DPMS"

2) The option "DPMS" should be in the Monitor section, not the Device section

   Subsection "Display"
       Depth 8
       Virtual 1024 768
   EndSubsection

   Subsection "Display"
       Depth 15
       Virtual 1024 768
   EndSubsection

   Subsection "Display"
       Depth 16
       Virtual 1024 768
   EndSubsection

   Subsection "Display"
       Depth 24
       Virtual 1024 768
   EndSubsection
EndSection

3) What crazy config tool produces such stupid and incomplete Display subsections?

[...]
(II) Loader running on linux
(II) LoadModule: "bitmap"
(II) Loading /usr/X11R6/lib/modules/fonts/libbitmap.a
(II) Module bitmap: vendor="The XFree86 Project"
   compiled for 4.3.0, module version = 1.0.0
   Module class: XFree86 Font Renderer
ABI class: XFree86 Font Renderer, version 0.4
[end]

4) Hardly a video driver problem. If the log stops here, I'd first remove "load 'bitmap'" and then the statement following that one from XF86Config[-4].
