I'm trying to start up a second display with one client using this command: xinit /usr/X11R6/bin/xclock -- /usr/X11R6/bin/X :1 If I run this from the console, it works, but if I run this from a terminal window in the first display, it doesn't. What happens is that X starts, but the client doesn't. This is the output that I get. I've got Xinerama running on the first display, but the second only uses one monitor. The main monitor is driven by a voodoo3, the secondary is driven by an S3Virge compatible card. I didn't file a bug, because it seems like something simple that I didn't do correctly, but I haven't found any answers in the archives, or on the web. Thanks for any help. _______________________________________________ XFree86 mailing list XFree86@xxxxxxxxxxx http://XFree86.Org/mailman/listinfo/xfree86
