I'm new in Linux and need help.
I tried to install Mandrake 9.1 on my desktop and got the following problem when configuring the graphics card (S3 graphics Prosavage DDR) and the monitor (Acer AL718 TFT flat panel LCD monitor). At the reboot, I got the messages:
(EE) Savage(0): No display subsection in screen section "screen1" for depth/fbbpp 8/8.
(EE) Screen(s) found, but none have a usable configuration. Fatal server error. no screens found.
Report problem to xfree86@xxxxxxxxxxx.
XIO: fatal IO erroe 104 (connection reset by peer) on Xserver ":00" after 0 requests (0 known processed) with 0 events remaining.
