Hi, I have a Medion MD6100 notebook running SuSE Linux 8.2 XFree 4.3.0 (V 11.0) NVidia GeForce4 388 Go graphic chip. The notebook has an external VGA port. I can switch internal / external / both by keyboard (FN-F3). This works on console, but not in X. In X, there is a signal on the VGA port, which causes my monitor to stay "on", but it is black all the time. The function key works in X. It switches the LCD display off, when I select 'external'.
