like a lot of other people here, i'm trying to get X to work on my laptop. in my case, i've got a compaq presario 1600 xl. i installed RH 5 (old, i know) from a CD. i went thru the xf86config process, but i don't know the answers to some of the questions it asked. in the end, when i tried to run X, i got error messages saying : ``...
