I just loaded vector linux on my pent p166 / 6.4gig
hd / 64mb ram... while able to log in as root and get around, I am not able to
run startx... I configured a few times to make sure I wasn't choosing items I
don't have but still no luck.. first I get GLIBC_2.2 not found...
then xinit: no such file or directory (errno = 2):
unable to connect to X server... then back to prompt #....
any ideas on what I'm doing

I'm running an optiquest Q51 monitor so I selected
generic, and svga...
Diamond stealth64 video 2001 Series.. that was a
selection.. and then 2mb video memory...
serial mouse microsoft compatible....
that's about all I can remember....
