Hi, I have checked the archives on google for this question, as I don't doubt that it has been asked before, but can't find it. I'm using a bog-standard 14" monitor, with a 2 MB-video card, SuperProbe reports the card as follows ... First video: Super-VGA Chipset: S3 Trio64V2/DX (PCI Probed) Memory: 2048 Kbytes RAMDAC: Generic 8-bit pseudo-color DAC (with 6-bit wide lookup tables (or in 6-bit mode)) I want to know what maximum definition I can have. My config file is here ... url:http://www.zeouane.org/unix/XF86Config I _think_ that I'm running in 800x600 mode, but am not sure. How can I tell ? I would like to go to 1024x768, and I think that this is possible, as that card was previously used in a Windows workstation, and I had this definition. Can anyone offer advice ? Thanks.
