Hello, everyone! This is my first posting to the Newbie list. I've been using Mandrake Linux 8.2 for about 2 months now. I really do love it a lot! However I am having problems with X (namely with my video chipset). I have a Dell Inspiron 2600 laptop with Intel 830M graphics chip. No matter which monitor/resolution configuration I try, I either sacrifice color depth, or screen size. I am running Xfree86 version 4.2.0. Is there some sort of fix? Will there be increased compatibility for Intel 830M/MG with Xfree v4.3?
