Hi,
I have installed NetBSD 1.5.2 on a HP Vectra, 733 MHz PIII, 256 MB, 12 GB, Intel 82815 Graphics Controller with 4 MB. XFree86 starts in 1024x768 mode with color depth 8 and I cannot change it using <Ctrl+Alt+KP_+/-> combination. Default color depth is set to 16 in config file. This controller supports 1280x1024 mode with 16-bit depth and 1600x1200 mode with 8-bit depth under Windows 2000.
Please advise where to look for info on this issue. Also, is there any tool to search archive at mail-index.netbsd.org? I have searched google but could not find anything specific to this problem.
