I'll try that. I was a little worried about doing that, but it looks like
the drivers might be the same for both systems, due to the special "module
loader."

I think I'll try that in a little while and get back to you.

It looks like some other people have had the same problems that I've had,
but no-one says how to fix them.
http://www.xfree86.org/pipermail/newbie/2001-November/011538.html
Here's a guy with a GeForce2 that had the problem with 4.0.2:
http://www.xfree86.org/pipermail/newbie/2000-December/003893.html
Here's a guy using an alpha system with a Matrox card in linux (he found a
way to fix it, but it's card specific):
http://www.linuxalpha.org/archives/axp-list/December2000/0373.shtml

I'd consider using XFree86 4.0.1 (since the guy above said it worked for
him), but in the docs, XFree86 specifically says that version 4.2.0 and
4.2.0 only supports the GeForce3 card with the nv driver.

I sent a bug report to XFree86 late last night, but I haven't heard back.

Yes. I thought that XFree86 came with the drivers. Is that right?
Did you have to download a driver seperately from the XFree86 install?

Thanks man. I really appreciate the help.
Thanks,
