If you have a Mystique G200 than try the latest drivers available from Matrox. I've just been able to successfully setup XFree86 V4.2 with the Beta version of the driver I found at http://www.matrox.com/mga/support/drivers/files/lnx_200.cfm. If you have a Mystique or Mystique 200, than Matrox (the company) does not provide Linux support.
