I've not done it, so it's just a guess (which is to say, if it ruins your machine, I deny I'll deny I sent this). We dual boot our G3 PB (Bronze) with Mac OS and SuSe Linux. FYI, 10.1.4 was posted today. -- Ted Frison > From: Richard Pratt <rp@pub.neu.edu> > Reply-To: newbie@XFree86.Org > Date: Sat, 13 Apr 2002 14:47:11 -0400 > To: <newbie@XFree86.Org> > Subject: [Newbie]Bins for Darwin 5.3 > > Thanks in advance for any help! > > I've run Xinstall.sh and I'm getting this message: > > Checking which OS you're running... > uname reports 'Darwin' version '5.3', architecture 'Power Macintosh'. > > No Darwin binaries available for this OS version > > I'm running OSX 10.1.3 (Build 5Q110) on a 400mhz G3 Powerbook (Lombard), I'm > hoping that there might be some sort of work around so I can still install > a version of XFree86. > > Thanks! > > Rich
