The two I have are: "Professional PHP Programming" by Castagnetto, et al, Wrox, ISBN 1-861002-96-3 "Core PHP Programming" by Atkinson, Prentice Hall, ISBN 0-13-089398-6 Both are good (and thick!) and while there's quite a bit of overlap, each has some unique perspectives.
