Thanks DaVince the drinks are on me. The loadsfx command directed to my timidity soundfont loaded the sf into the soundcard memory and PRESTO !! midi working in all respects. Only prob is the sf is to large for the onboard memory of the card so I'm looking around for a smaller more compatible one. I'm one happy bunny. Cheers :D
