First let me say thank you to to all for your help. I do appreciate the time you're taking to help me.

Ok. I went to the Wine FAQ 3.2 and read the instructions for install from CD. Followed instructions "First verify that CD-ROM is mapped to a disk drive in winecfg "Drives" tab (ex D: -> /media/cdrom)"

I got this error in Terminal, when I clicked the drives tab in Winecfg:
rick@rick-desktop:~$ winecfg
err:winecfg:open_mountmgr failed to open mount manager err 2
err:winecfg:open_mountmgr failed to open mount manager err 2
fixme:msg:pack_message msg 14 (WM_ERASEBKGND) not supported yet
err:winecfg:open_mountmgr failed to open mount manager err 2
fixme:msg:pack_message msg 14 (WM_ERASEBKGND) not supported yet
err:winecfg:open_mountmgr failed to open mount manager err 2

Winecfg would not let me map the drive. Is this a bug? I'm running Wine 1.1.24 Beta...
I will say that I still tried the command while in the media/cdrom directory and got this error:
rick@rick-desktop:/media/cdrom$ wine start Install\ Dreamweaver\ MX.exe
fixme:exec:SHELL_execute flags ignored: 0x00000100
rick@rick-desktop:/media/cdrom$

Don't mean to be a simpleton, but what is next? Am I doing something wrong or missing something?
Thanks again for your help.
Rick (shobuz99)
