Well, the point of my email is that it does not.


Note that I said *installing* and i specifically referenced
ie6setup.exe, not running IE itself, and yes installing IE6 does work.

rm -rf ~/.wine
wine ie6setup.exe
wine IEXPLORE.EXE

It than asks to install Gecko, which I accept, it downloads and
apprently installs it.
After that IE works in a very weird way - it does render html pages,
but there are no IE menus, nothing...

You're not running native Internet Explorer if those were your
commands.  As far as I know, no one has been able to get native IE
running in quite a while.  Someone speak out if they've figured out
how to get it running.
