Hi, my name's Robin and I'm new to this list. I hope this is the correct list for me and my problems... :) For the past half a year I have successfully run Classic Painter under Wine (various versions up to 20031212). Recently I also managed to install support for my graphics tablet in my Linux (SuSE 9.0) and I was very happy when I saw that Wine 20040121 supported tablets at last. I installed the SuSE rpm, but on this version Painter for the first time did not start but crashed during startup, when it displayed the splash screen. The same happened after a completely clean re-installation of this Wine version, and also after I compiled it from the source instead of using the rpm. The two test programs for tablets, which were provided in the most recent newsletter, work perfectly well - now if only both the tablet support and Painter would work at the same time. :) The following output is from the debugger which Wine starts, right after I start to run Classic Painter: -------------------- Could not stat /media/fd0 (No such file or directory), ignoring drive A: fixme:keyboard:X11DRV_KEYBOARD_DetectLayout Your keyboard layout was not found! I tried copying the NTDLL.DLL which is mentioned in the line before the last from my Win2000 to the fake windows system directory, but that did not change anything. Can anyone give me a hint?
