Hi list! I want to thank for all the replies. Ofcourse it didn't have anything to do with the kernel, in spite of our local kernel hackers protests ;-) It had to do with LDAP and name-caching, se bug 1088 (http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1088). It seems that wine doesn't work to well with LDAP just yet. There are many apps with similar problmes, as we have been made aware.
