I just read that and couldn't find anything like the issue I am having, except that wine has issues with ubuntu 12.04 ? Sorry I made the switch from windows about two weeks ago. And was fine as long as photoshop and dreamweaver work (I am a graphic designer) but there is no way in hell I am making the switch to GIMP lol that program is so poorly designed! Guess I am stuck with windows for now :(
